Brrr it’s cold in here…

It must be winter in the atmosphere!

I know I shouldn’t complain about winters in New York since they aren’t as bad as winters in other parts of the world. With that said, however, we do get some pretty cold days over here and an occasional yearly snowstorm. This sort of weather takes a pretty big toll on our skin; therefore, it is extremely important to adjust our skincare routines to prevent the potential damaging effects of mother nature.

Here are some of my must-have products to use in the winter:

1) Creme Ancienne by Fresh – Definitely an investment but is very worth it. This miracle potion is full of amazing ingredients and is extremely hydrating. During winter, it is important to substitute your normal moisturizer for a thicker, richer formula or add a night creme to your daily routine. I used this creme at night and just love the way my skin feels like when I wake up.

It is crucial not to forget to use eye creams every single day. I love Dr. Hauschka’s eye cream because it’s all natural ingredients are incredibly nurturing and the heavenly smell is just impossible not to love.

3) Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist – It is important to hydrate throughout the day. This is a perfect product to tone and restore skin’s moisture throughout the day. I keep this mist in my purse in the winter and when traveling.

4) Paula’s Choice Lip Balm – Perhaps the most common battle during cold weather is one against chapped lips. Dry, cracked lips are so annoying and makes perfect lipstick application nearly impossible. With that said, treating chapped lips are easy and effective with this Paula’s choice product. I use this balm daily before applying my lipstick or gloss. For a quick fix, use after exfoliating your lips.

Try these winter essentials and enjoy their nourishing benefits.

Stay glowing this winter and face the beauty!
